The COVID-19 virus has affected every individual and business across the globe. Our world has changed. This course is part of a series designed to help practitioners navigate our rapidly changing tax and business landscape. In this course we will review tax provisions contained in The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, H.R. 748. We will also review recent IRS pronouncements including the IRS People First Initiative designed to provide relief on a variety of issues ranging from easing payment guidelines to postponing compliance actions.
