Using Excel 2010-2016 Solver for Optimum Business Solutions
This course provides instruction on the uses of Excel Solver to solve complex business problems. Through the use of examples, an overall understanding of the following will be achieved:

  • Optimization of a target cell (called an Objective)

  • The use of constraints

  • The use of binary constraints to make choices

  • Ideas for spreadsheet design

  • The SUMPRODUCT function

Examples include production environments, advertising, capital budgeting, lockbox selection and employee scheduling.
