Ethics for Enrolled Agents
This ethics course covers standards of professional conduct and business practices adhered to by Enrolled Agents in order to enhance their profession and maximize idealism, justice and fairness when dealing with the public, clients and other members of their profession. It also presents an approach—the threats and safeguards approach—to coping with ethical dilemmas.

This course identifies those elements comprising the Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct associated with membership in the NAEA and differentiates the continuing education requirements between NAEA members and those mandated by Circular 230 and the IRS. This course meets the 2 hour ethics requirement for license renewal.
